Welcome to Presyo ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at presyo.net (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Presyo is a free price comparison and buying guide platform for consumers in the Philippines. We aggregate publicly available product pricing information from various online retailers and local stores, and present it in a format designed to help you make informed purchase decisions. The Service also provides telecom plan comparisons, editorial buying guides, and price tracking tools.

2. Use of the Service

2.1 Eligibility

You may use the Service if you are at least thirteen (13) years old. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2.2 Account Registration

Browsing the Service does not require an account. You may optionally sign in using Google or Facebook via Firebase Authentication to access additional features such as Favorites, Price Alerts, and saved comparisons. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

2.3 Cost

The Service is provided free of charge. We do not charge users any fees for accessing or using any features.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

The Service contains affiliate links to third-party retailers, including but not limited to Lazada and Shopee, facilitated through affiliate networks such as Involve Asia. When you click on these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate commissions do not affect the prices displayed on the Service, nor do they influence the order in which products or stores are ranked. The price you pay at the retailer's website is the same whether or not you use our affiliate link. Affiliate links are identified on the Service where applicable.

4. Price Information and Disclaimer

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate and up-to-date pricing information. However, prices are sourced from third-party retailers and may change at any time without notice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price information displayed on the Service.

Before making a purchase, you should always verify the final price, availability, and product specifications directly on the retailer's website. Presyo is not responsible for errors or discrepancies between the prices shown on the Service and the actual prices charged by retailers.

Buying guides, product recommendations, and "life translation" calculations (e.g., daily cost estimates) are provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional financial advice.

5. Intellectual Property

The content, design, layout, and code of the Service are owned by Presyo and are protected by Philippine intellectual property laws.

Product names, images, logos, and trademarks displayed on the Service belong to their respective owners. Their use on the Service is solely for the purpose of identifying products and providing price comparison information. Presyo does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access, extract, or download data from the Service without our prior written consent
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure or security systems
• Access the Service through any means other than the interfaces provided by us

In no event shall Presyo be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to losses resulting from purchasing decisions made in reliance on information provided by the Service.
